Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on AWS infrastructure in US-based data centers (us-east-1). We use SOC 2 certified facilities with 24/7 physical security, biometric access controls, and redundant power and network connectivity.
Can CypherPro access my bank accounts?
No. We use read-only APIs (via Plaid and direct bank integrations) that allow us to fetch transaction data but not initiate transfers, payments, or any account changes. Your money is never at risk.
Who at CypherPro can see my data?
Access to production data is strictly limited to a small set of senior engineers on a need-to-access basis, with all access logged and audited. Customer support can see account metadata (company name, plan tier) but not transaction-level data unless you explicitly grant access.
Do you sell or share my data?
Never. We do not sell, rent, or share your financial data with any third party for any reason. Your data is yours — we process it only to provide the bookkeeping service you've signed up for.
What happens if I cancel?
You can export all your data at any time (CSV, PDF, or direct QuickBooks/Xero export). Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted from our systems.
How do you handle security incidents?
We maintain a documented incident response plan and will notify affected customers within 24 hours of confirming any breach that impacts their data. Our security team is on-call 24/7.
